Why is this a good thing? I buy madden for the NFL replication. This is horrible that the cash cow gets all the updates while the soul just atrophies.

Of course I don't expect anything else. The problem isn't EAs fault. It's that there is a big disconnect between Madden fans and the NFL. There are fewer Madden players who play Madden because it's the NFL than there are because it's Madden.

You're amazed at the updates MUT gets? Big surprise, when Ultimate Team makes a lot of money for EA, EA focuses on Ultimate Team and does very little to other game modes.
