Freeman/Coleman

Anyone else play with the Falcons? If so, how do you get Tevin Coleman more involved?

Wish formation subs allowed RBs to sub in for WRs and TEs in the backfield.

Thanks!

Re: Freeman/Coleman

The first thing I do is I up the autosubs to the high 80's for the RB's to try to get a realistic switch out between them. I also use sets where there are two players in the backfield (mostly pistol or gun formations) and will use the package sub so that I have both RBs in.

In formations with only a single running back I tend to use the sub HB package depending on which runs I am calling. I use Tevin Coleman for a lot of powers and dives, while I use Freeman on mostly stretches, tosses, and traps.

I also will occasionally run them on wheel routes or will call passing plays that get them involved from either the backfiled of formations from the gun where the RB is placed in a WR position, I've had a lot of luck with Coleman in those types of situations.

I actually would plug Coleman in all jumbo, tight and goal line formations due to him having a much higher trucking rating. Freeman is a better shotgun/Spread type back IMO. I just had to place Coleman on IR in week one so Freeman will get the bulk.
