Hello,

I built a website for exporting your data to. This is for people who need a place to export and handle the data on their own.

Basic flow: Sign up with username. Go to Companion App enter https://maddenexporter.herokuapp.com/[username]. Come back to the website and click My Data in the navigation dropdown.

Visit https://maddenexporter.herokuapp.com to learn more.

Features:
  • Download export (JSON)
  • Delete exports
  • View all exports

For the technical users, I created a basic exporter repo to get anyone started with their own setup. https://github.com/birdwell/Madden-Companion-Exporter

Please, message me with questions or suggestions.

Re: Companion App Exporter

Is there a reason why I continue to get a network failure when I try to download the Json data?

It was due to the large file that was being download. The method I was using doesn't support that large of a file. I updated what I was using. I also broke it down into smaller files. It was becoming increasingly bigger. I downloaded one json file that was 18 MB. That wasn't good. The fix has been deployed to the site.

Re: Companion App Exporter

I can't figure this out lol. I am registered as niles08. I get the data exported to the site from the APP and not sure what to do with it now. tried to convert it to CSV on a couple sites but it didn't seem to work. Can you go into detailed step by step instructions on what to do once we download the data from your site. I am looking to find a way to be able to read my data.

Very nice!

Any chance there is documentation as to what all of the values equate to? Most are obvious but some are not so.

That's EA problem haha. I just write what they send me to a database.

lol, ya I thought maybe you had access to an API which maybe included definitions. Wasn't expecting you to write up documentation for them. Again, nice work!
