help with Xbox playcalling bugs?

I'm trying to play offline league with a custom off playbook, coach only, all default sliders, all-pro. I'm finding multiple playcalling bugs that make it unplayable:

1) After asking for coach recommendations, if I select with the Y button, it calls a punt instead of the play - happens about 1 in 5 calls.

2) When choosing plays based on personnel, about 1 in 5 times instead of showing me the playbook it gives me about 10 plays to choose from, regardless of what formation/set is labelled, none of which are in my playbook anyway.

I haven't tracked this perfectly, but I'm pretty sure it's never showing me my whole playbook when choose plays by personnel, but it's not limiting them by gameplan stars either.

I haven't tried controlling for the different variables. I can't find anything in searches, but I'm hoping someone has a fix/workaround.

The play books are yet another area plagued with bugs and inconsistencies.

Many times, in various play call formats, selecting the Y play is not possible. It's a dead button.

I have also noticed plays missing from my play books when calling them by formation. Sometimes they show up, and other times not. Very inconsistent.

Sometimes a play will show up when using a certain format but not in others. It's frustrating.

Punt return recommended options only return several repeated return left options. A more lengthy play calling menu navigation is required to get any other direction choices.

I don't expect there will be a fix anytime soon (soon meaning years in EA speak).

I hope this helps. I really hope they overhaul gameplan playcalling next year. It is my personal biggest issue.

Thanks! My gameplan is very different than what's outlined there, so this may well fix it. (Not that this doesn't constitute a huge collection of bugs.) I probably won't have the time to overhaul everything for a bit, but I'll check back when I do.

You're welcome. Not happy at all with the restrictive nature of playcall gameplan feature, but this is the best workaround I've found. Keep in mind, during the last two minutes of the first half, you will have to playcall from formation as 4 minute situation glitch rears its ugly head and there is no way to copy that to 2 minute. No work around that I know of.
