Is this possible on ps4? I have looked everywhere (new to ps4 so sorry for the dumb question)-- Also, if i start a second franchise will it overwrite this one?

Yes. Click the touchpad to bring up the save menu.

Starting a second franchise will not automatically overwrite your current franchise, as long as you save your current franchise first, and be sure not to save your second franchise over your first.
