How to defeat chop blocks ?

Hi,

I wonder if there's a way to hurdle over chop blocks or if there's any way to defeat them. I'm playing career mode as a Linebacker and I'm missing a lot of sacks due to the RB chopping over and over. Doesn't matter if I sprint or not, I'm on my back most of the time...

Running back blocking is a big issue this year. It is much better than it was at launch but still overpowered. It seems they are successful too much. I would love to see them miss and the defender whack the qb but he would just throw the ball away anyway. Block ratings don't seem to matter, it is just programmed in to happen. You can beat a lineman but a 160 pound speed back is a better blocker.

From what I've experienced, I don't think there is any way to defeat them. Maybe you get lucky and your player avoids it but that is a really rare chance and can't be controlled by the user. It can be really annoying too as many running backs in real life don't chop block as much as in Madden.
