Favorite Open Field Moves

I did a franchise for a while where I had Derrick Henry, and got his trucking up to a 99. While it was fun to run people over using the precision truck, it usually slowed me down enough to get caught from behind.

Now, I have a running back with 99 elusiveness, 99 juke, and 99 spin. I LOVE the speed spin and speed juke to make one guy miss while not slowing down much. I find I rarely use the precision moves, or even the regular moves, as they seem to too slow.

What moves does everyone else like doing in the open field?

I like the truck. My strategy for the last 10 years in madden is to draft very fast running backs and convert them to power backs. That way when they are old they will still have some speed left, especially now that everybody regresses the same. I develop truck, stiff arm and strength. I love running people over. The juke and spin moves just look cheesy to me. If you have 95 acceleration and speed you can often truck people and not be caught.

For me it is trucking, I have always loved trucking and was really excited when EA made it a lot better. Spin moves are nice to me as well but I don't use them too often. I try to juke but it doesn't really work for me anymore so I have given that up.

I love the back juke. I know it can only be useful 0.5% of the time, and 99.99% of the time it leads to getting wrecked, but it looks so graceful when used properly.

i hate the jukes in Madden 17. They dont genuinely juke anyone for two reasons, either they give a canned reaction to be effective or the vacuum tackling makes the separation they create pointless.

I don't use any moves because the animations are hideous when you get tackled during them. I just use sprint to get away from a defender or running through a hole with a DE chasing me from behind.

love to truck but have learnt to love a good hard juke. going down the sideline and then juking back inside to beat the S coming across.
