Re: PS4 Pro With Boost Mode

Boost mode wasn't released for the Pro until today. Now that it has been released, has anyone noticed any difference at all with PS4 Pro Boost Mode enabled?

I feel like the menus might be a little snappier and the load times slightly faster, but I don't notice any performance difference in-game. Gameplay still 60 FPS, cutscenes still around 30.

Boost mode fixed the slow framerate in practice mode and skills trainer for me! If you have had the slow practice mode glitch since patch 1.10, I would try Boost Mode.

Menus are definitely snappier and faster. Load times seems slightly shorter.

Gameplay was still smooth, never had an issue before anyways.

Im definitely sticking with boost mode for Madden 17.

That's good news if so, I didn't go into practice mode to check that - I assumed it'd still be messed up because EA said it's something they're going to patch.

Yeah, specifically for me, before both the instructional section and the earn the medal section were slow and stuttering.

Now the earn the medal part is normal speed for me, it's actually fun to do it again (I'll admit, I haven't checked skills trainer thing from the main menu, I'm playing my CFM).

Wow. I didn't expect boost mode to do anything but man, the game as a whole runs smoother, faster and looks noticeably cleaner. Love it.
