Re: Your Player Nicknames

"Slippery Schwartz"

back in the days of gamecube, madden 02 or 03, I drafted a WR with the last name Schwartz. He was a 6th round pick, and a 71 overall. All his attributes however were through the roof! Catching, acceleration, agility, juke...everything...except his speed was a 73. SEVENTY THREE, as a wide receiver.

Nonetheless, he became my #1 target. Worked up through the depth chart and was a starter almost immediately. He was just impossible to tackle, and his route running was stellar. So despite his speed, he was always open and broke tackles. With something like 99 acceleration, he was able to reach his top end quick. This gave him the moves to beat guys within about 5 yards, and always tacked on extra yardage.

1900 yards as a rookie, 2200 in his sophomore year, and hovered around 2k a season the rest of his career.

He was truly a gamebreaking player in the weirdest way. That's how I learned speed isn't everything (but it certainly helps!)

Speaking of Schwartz, I always pick up Mitchell "Use the" Schwartz from Free Agency. Dude is always a beast in my lineup.

Also I pronounce Schwartz like a real Jew as in Schvatz.

PS, i'm Jew lol

Macbath could also be Macbeth, since he appears to be a bit of a tragedy .
Yeah the tough thing is after 3 seasons I had even gotten him up to 99 overall with 99 injury and like 95 toughness but even still he would seem to get injured regardless so I ended up trading him to move up in the draft.

Macbath was indeed a tragedy. He was a project 1st rounder for sure granted he was taken like 28th overall in the 1st. He was only like 74 overall but he had 82 speed, 83 strength and 88 power moves. His block shed and everything else was really low though. So he seemed like a project that was very doable twas not to be so though.
