High pass vs Lob pass

What is the difference? I just found the high pass feature last night in practice mode.

The double tap seems to get more height and feels more like dropping it in a bucket. The single tap seems like a less powerful through, but not necessarily high trajectory.

Maybe someone else can answer with a more official answer, but that's how I've found it anyway.

Re: High pass vs Lob pass

Single tab is lob and has a higher arc, better for deep routes if the wr has beat their man.

Double tab is touch pass that has a medium arc and is intended to go over hook zones but place underneath touch zones I. E. Beat the lb. Good on deep in routes

You can use L1 or L2 to use low or high pass. Use low to place a ball where only your guy can get it I. E. Hook route and use possession catch, very safe. Use high passes if your wr has good jump, is tall or good spectacular catch, great on red zone fade.

Also use the stick to leaf the pass forward back left or right. Great on slants and crossing routes. Beware that using any pass other than normal bullet pass has more in accuracy in game.

Go to the skills trainer, there are tutorials on all the passes.

In theory this is how it works.

However, the CPU AI warps all over the place to negate some of it on high difficulty levels. Very lame.
