I have no problem with a star quarterback posting a 350+ yard 3-TD game winning player of the week over either of the other two players mentioned. The other quarterback had at least two negative plays (fumbled twice), and the running back isn't a quarterback (which given that the NFL is a passing league nowadays is hugely important).
I do think that Madden should consider revising its weekly awards system to match what we see in real life with the FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week, but that's neither here nor there.
