Does it seem weird that we're a month and a half away from EA PLAY and we know NOTHING about the next game aside from frostbite?? Usually we'd have a cover vote or teaser trailer or something. Maybe I'm off.

I wouldn't expect anything. They've been trying to keep the recording for E3 or EA play out for a couple years now. With frostbite upgrading the graphics they will keep it under wraps as long as possible. That'll either add to the hype and wow factor right before it releases or hold back the complaints if it looks underwhelming.

This thread comes up every year.

Madden's marketing cycle begins at the draft, and that's always pretty light info. Sometimes there's a trickle before the draft, but it always starts in earnest at the draft.
