Could also encourage more varied user behavior as well. If you have RBs who have incentive-laden contracts, you might be more willing to do a by-committee backfield / use more formation subs or spell package substitutions with your RBs.

I like the idea of greater team management consequences to deal with for pure stat chasing, and this feels like a good way to handle it.

1. Completely revamped progression/regression system
2. Completely revamped scouting/draft (not that the draft itself is bad, per se, but it could be much better).

I don't know if this would rank as a top community request, but I really, really miss custom league. I would much prefer to set up a 6-10 team leagues in which we can set the rosters as real or draft. Then a decent round robin schedule in which members all play each other, and there are zero CPU controlled teams.


I though the addition of CPU controlled teams in leagues was great. But if I realized they were going to eliminate custom leagues, I would never have wanted them.

For someone who doesn't have the time to join a full 30-team online CFM, a custom league with friends would be great. I have about 5 friends that all get Madden and to be able to have a round robin with us 6 and have the top-2 play for the championship would be much more feasible for all of us rather than an online CFM.

The last time I actually really enjoyed an online league was APFB 2K8. We played several seasons. We even started doing offline drafts so that no one took the same Legends.

It used to the normal thing to offer in sports games.

If it is your two guesses I'm going to be very disappointed because a large number of us don't care at all about those things so we'll be left a lump of coal in our Madden stockings. I hope that is going to be features that every CFM player would want to use.
