This was a really good interview. Simulation setting and gameplay as a whole sounds amazing on paper this year. Hearing that they can release title updates with animations in them is a huge plus but I was disappointed that he seemed so focused on those animations being celebrations. Seems a lot like the commentary updates where this is huge missed opportunity to add significant stuff that affects the game long term rather than adding stuff that is likely only relevant to M18.

That CFM answer too, man. Seemed like he was just beating around the bush the whole time as to why CFM didn't get much at all this year. Seemed to hint that what NBA Live gets this year could easily be implemented to CFM. Can't describe how tired I am of hearing big things are coming and things are going to be so much easier now and so much better moving forward. I also have no clue what MUT-like content updates getting as much cool as MUT inside of CFM might look like but that sounds like it'll be a big thing moving forward. Don't really care though as long as it means a much deeper and more realistic franchise mode.

Well it will be interesting to see how a lack of new cfm stuff will affect sales.
I'm pretty sure cfm affects sales more than they think.

That was a good interview by Sim and Rex. Even though I didn't like some of the answers, Rex has always been upfront with the answers and sometimes, his hands are tied as was evident in this interview.
