QB accuracy was in my top 5 issues hoping to be addressed. Knowing that the sim setting addressed my concerns, I'm a happy camper with that piece of information.

Lol. U know, it's so funny how a day can change your perceptions. I'm an every year buyer, honestly, for various reasons, so for me, there's never much indecision. But, I always feel free to hate or like certain features. Lol. The forum was blowing up yesterday, and I was a part of it with that story mode nonsense and CFM gets no love, etc. But, I tell u what, 5 mins of Rex and 5 mins with Clint just talking about a few simple things changed all that.

Really looking forward to:
1. No suction tackling. Wow, if true, this is one of those legacy issues cleaned up
2. Animations sound better/cleaned up due to frostbite. Again, if true, this can be huge simply how the game looks and feels.
3. Linemen injuries for CFM.
4. Hit stick low/high. Yes, this was in madden b4, but is a welcome return. I always liked that idea of going low/high as an extra bit of control.
5. QB inaccuracies on the sim setting. This is what 99% of this forum has wanted for years. Lol. Maybe, 100%.


Overall, maybe the cleaning up of the legacy issues and frostbite might make this a truly new game. The video posted by Playmakers seems to bear this out. And, @Playmakers, thank you for posting a time to look at. I like simfootballcritic, but that video was going nowhere fast at the beginning. . But, seriously, I'm looking forward to this game ahelluvalotmore now than yesterday. Lol.

And, I'll have to see about that targeted passing. I'm def going to try it out. And, maybe it becomes something that is good for certain plays, but maybe stay away from it if u want to throw deep. The guy in that video seemed to make that type of comment, that throwing deep is really difficult. I was sort of hoping they were hyping this as being too difficult was being overblown some. But, I'm starting to think it will be very difficult. But, maybe, it will be worth learning if it gives the QB more realistic feeling, maybe. So, yeah, I'm all in. I'll even play that stupid story mode ONCE. LOL. Although, I'm sort of torn, there. I don't want their telemetry to pick up on the fact that I played it.

Didn't like what Clint said about the kick meter. Said functionality hasn't changed from last year and there was just UI additions which is disappointing. Kicking was way too easy from the jump and then they made it even easier. Needs to be a far greater penalty for not hitting the 'perfect' part of the meter, especially on the simulation setting.
