Yeah, I figured Target Passing was going to take most of the QB ratings out of the equation. Seems like the perfect choice for the "Competitive" style.

Goes back to the issue of competitive players not wanting randomness to decide their games. Putting an error radius on target passing due to QB ratings isn't really different from having that chance of a poorly thrown ball on normal passing.

I never really saw this as a "sim" feature at all, to be honest.

One step forward two steps back. I feel like this is the point of the year where we get all these great new features presented to us that we all get excited about and then there's a slow crawl back to reality leading up to the release.

This EAPLAY and E3 is a big snooze-fest when you don't even have videos to try to decipher any of this. From here, that is from someone who was unable to attend either, it's all talking EA heads.

Even in sim mode ratings don't effect target passing? That's a gigantic let down

As long as Rex said the there will be a difference between Aaron Rodgers and Brett Hundley, the backup, that ratings will matter in sim mode, I'm ok with it, as long as ratings work as they should work.
