It's off-topic for this thread....but I can tell you that it IS fixable for M17 (at least for offline CFM).

It just sucks when you primarily care about Franchise modes and they are so far behind where they were in 2006 at this point. And they can talk all they want about how they aren't working on that because they want to improve gameplay but the real reason is the way Ultimate Team modes have exploded and given them an entirely new stream of revenue, so of course they pour more and more into that every year.
