Will they ever fix the challenge system? That is gameplay you know. Ignoring it is the worse thing to do, its current implementation is the highest level of WTF is this.

This is something that will probably never get fixed. If they fixed 35-40 legacy issues and didn't touch this when it's been an issue for as long as it's been in the game, it's either something too complicated to spend time on or so far down the priority list that it will take years to get to. The fact that it isn't a factor in competitive isn't going to help it's cause any either.

So sad that something that can cost you a game, isn't a high priority.....

I'm far from a "Debbie Downer" but the more they talk about M18 the more it seems it's a football game not geared towards me.

100% Agree. Especially when some of the calls can be so blatantly wrong. Part of me wishes they'd just take out the challenge system and make every call right but at the same time some of the wrong calls it makes and then doesn't review, makes me think that the game is not only interpreting it as the right call but clearly as the right call. I'd love to see a Madden Championship game end on something like this:

Exactly. That's the thing, the competitive crowd and the sim crowd aren't really all that different. EA/Tiburon has created these crowds with the short comings that come with the game. Some said F it and adjusted at all costs to win, some said F it, I'm going with what would really happen and I'm sticking to it aka the "sim" crowd. It's sad something like that would have to happen for more realism to be brought in.....
