It will hopefully be better. Still sounds like it will be super unrealistic though.

We will see. He did point out the issue was users were too fast on defense so it appears they see the issue. Now with a "sim" mode they can address it throughout the year.

Hopefully they can fix the boost the user gets when playing on Sim mode before the game launches.

Pretty disappointed that there is a 10% boost for usered DL players. That shouldn't be in the game at all. It sure shouldn't be in sim style. I just don't get why the dev team makes these decisions that seem so out of touch from what we really want. Who in the world would want that boost in a sim league? Hope they remove that before launch.

@T4verts

There's really only two avenues to manipulate gameplay for so many perceptions about what a player should/shouldn't be able to do during gameplay.

1) Player Ratings Editing
- this is a very long and tiresome task to undertake Player-by-player.

Could you ask the possibility of minimizing this task by expanding the current editor to possibly making global changes by position etc...? (similiar to how NBA Live 10 did)

2) Gameplay Sliders
- so few sliders linking too many aspects together, sometimes affecting something you had no issues with.

Could you ask if there's a possibility of expanding Maddens library of Gameplay Sliders, giving the user more flexibility?

Customization is king, and Madden has always been so restrictive in this area compared to every other sports game.

There is just too many perspectives at play, for them to be trying to establish the balance on their end.

Thanks T!!!

It has seemed that the one thing people have wanted more and more of is customization at granular levels.I'll mention it next time I get a chance.

To those complaining about the 10% extra chance on Dline, I'm not sure what else u thought was going on there? I mean, that's the deal. It's a video game. What u do matters. When u press a button matters, period. I'm a sim guy, and I want ratings to matter most, but u know, it's also a game that should reward skillfully timed button presses. Whether that's on a catch, a swat, a ball hawk (forget the pressing Y right after the snap, I'm talking about actually timing this after positioning yourself to best make an INT). I mean, all these things have small boosts. They've said this before, and it wouldn't make sense not to. Overall, the ratings do still matter there, btw. If u had a DE with 70 block shed or power move and pressed the button at the right time, u might still not break through. I've struggled to win those things with Vic Beasley (albeit, this is preseason Beasley before he led league in sacks last year, but still).

I will admit that it's weird the comp community doesn't like this, lol. But, still, even in sim mode where ratings still dominate, u r also playing the game, what u do, when u do it should also matter. U should have both in a video game. The real question is how much it helps. But, to say u don't want it there at all, I mean, I don't get that.

Ratings still matter in this case, btw. But, you're the player, so u get a little boost when u time things correctly. Yeah, I just don't have a problem with that.

Me either and makes you think why more resources are not available for a very successful game in Madden

But it makes sense. Fifa/soccer is more globally popular than NFL. Like with NBA 2k, the international market really helps. As Rex said in interview, Fifa has a sister company outside of US. He mentioned the dev team not being big enough in Madden
