While thinking about how frustrating it is that all that has been released so far is Longshot news, I had an interesting thought. Does the sim community hate Longshot even more than MUT? For years MUT has been the source of frustration for us as more and more resources are devoted to the money-making mode rather than CFM, but this year Longshot seems to be way more at fault.

In your opinion, which mode do you hate more because of how it drains resources from CFM?

I think that CFM'ers hate MUT more. I know I do. MUT is probably the biggest reason why we don't have what's on Deuce's thread right now. I mean other than no other NFL game competition.

MUT = $$$$$$$$$

CFM = $60 flat per person

I don't hate MUT and Longshot I don't know yet, but it does frustrate me to keep seeing time spent making these things and improving them when they continue to ignore franchise mode. Then they stand there and say they are not ignoring franchise mode, it's like listening to a politician talk. Really you're not ignoring it? Then why hasn't it changed in 5 years now? I don't play MUT but I don't care it's there in the end, just show us you care about the franchise players also.

I have never played either so I can't say I hate them. More like indifferent or uninterested. They both piss me off for taking away developers time from cfm. When your operating a yearly top five selling game on a two guys in their mom's basement budget, every hour counts.

MUT-because eventually you build up your team to face an opponent with the same players. LOL its dumb concept for me personally. I would rather use the browns vs the patriots in an online ranked matched. The only variation in MUT Seems to be $$$ you have to spend. Thats my take
