No it's just built in to work based on whatever jersey you choose, it will just automatically happen no user input needed.

Interesting. Is it something that is different for each team? Like with Cam Newton he wears black with the black and white with white but I know most Chiefs players wear white accessories at home and red with their away uniforms.

I did it for every team I could find that does it, so Chiefs work for example as well, white at home red away, panthers and raiders and Steelers black at home white away.
