Keys To Victory

Was looking at some videos on YouTube of old maddens just to refresh my memory on how far we have come & I think one of the most forgotton features that I can't recall the last time it was in madden but

Man do I Miss the days where Madden Had Keys to Victory In it that explains what each team needs to try to do to win the game..

I'm totally surprised people don't bring this up in Wishlist threads as still today you see During pre game they mention the keys to Victory

I think that & Weather Conditions Screen like in old maddens that say like

Forecast Tab use to be like this
Arrowhead Stadium
Location Kansas City Missouri
Blizzard or Heavy Snow
Temperature -2
Wind 17mph


Should no doubt Return as these are still apart of the pre game things you see just mins before kickoff

Wish they would being both of these things back as it would just bring madden that much closer to the Attention To Detail they always try to say they want to bring in..

Hope one day EA can get back to adding these in along with Entire lineup & coach interductions

I used to love this popup before every game on Madden 2002, showing which team was better at each area.




And thats so simple, you could really expand on it. Show the stats, rankings, key players, etc. Would love to see graphics show up during franchise games that gave you a feel for each team and how their season has gone. Even throw in some commentary lines about each teams strengths and weaknesses. There is so much you could do.

Watching the video that's in the first post... CPU misses a 33 yard FG, wide left... Over 10 years later, and that "randomness" is taken out of the game. CPU in M17 knocks down every single FG right down the middle.

I miss radio shows that play while you are in Franchise mode menu...
Newspaper articles from the local paper.
Importing draft classes from the current (at that time) NCAA game.
Playing superstar mode with the special fixed camera that focuses on your guy. Coach calling plays.

Oh yeah I completely forgot that existed that would also be a huge addition all this stuff needs to return to bring more realism to madden...
