Re: Strength Rating

Well.....whichever the case may be, I just hope that in regards to proper injuries - I hope STR regresses a noticeable amount until said player is 100% healed.

Like those ever present Broken Collarbones, Upper Arm Fractures, Torn Rotator Cuffs, and anything pertaining to how STR is utilized.

It may be just me, but I find that the -2 or -5 to attributes off of severe injuries just don't serve injury severity any Justice.

Re: Strength Rating

When it comes to injuries I just wish they did it more like real life broken index finger (non throwing hand) stuff like that. But I doubt STR will make a difference like it really should. On a different level I wish technique and agility could be bigger factors too Antonio Brown never has speed in game to make huge breakaway plays like he does on sundays with his agility

Re: Strength Rating

In the blocking blog Clint stated that the strength rating was changed for Madden 18 for line play. It no longer had an effect on shedding a block or "winning" but now has to do with how long a player stays engaged in the block. So if a defender has a higher strength rating they'll be able to pull away from the block and continue pursuit or pull away and try again with a finesse or powermove.
