I hope this is not touted as a major feature. It is a much needed, SIMPLE addition. I see scouting is still the same. Franchise needs a major rehaul before I buy Madden again

Agreed...

This means absolutely nothing to someone who plays offline franchise.

Before swami actually SHOWED the draft board feature, I was extremely let down.

Custom draft boards seem pretty useless to me. How often are you going to sim your own draft? It would be EXTREMELY NICE if all of the other CPU teams went off your custom draft board, that way you wouldn't be able to exploit later round gems because you would move them up into the 1st round somewhere. However, that doesn't seem to be a thing.

The author claims CPU draft logic has improved. They will not take the same position in back to back rounds, and were given a hard limit on how many of the same position they can take overall. What happens when they draft a CB in the 3rd, and a very good CB is available in the 4th and they happen to need multiple CBs? Seems like this isn't really a logic improvement, and could introduce new problems.

Overall, body types haven't changed much. The first prospect I saw was a 6'7" 338 lb. run blocking RT. That was the default "big mauler" type last year as well. It would be nice to see more random heights and weights.

It looks like last year's pre-patch issue is back, where there are far too many good late round prospects. Maybe there was negative feedback after nerfing classes? Personally I think the nerfed classes along with having all CPU teams go off of your own draft board would be a pretty darn big improvement, make it so EA!

it might. I noticed he said if you simulate the cpu will follow your board, "well not exactly" . Then goes on to say , the cpu now will not pick same position in back to back picks/rounds. So if that means that say i have 4 HBs on top of my board because i need a good HB.Im picking at 18th in round 1. Im not sure one of the 4 will be there so i list them 1-4 on my board. I get my # 2 at 18th pick, Then my second round i have 5th pick. If # 3 or # 4 still on my board and CPU skips them because it just picked HB, then yes, this is great news for online leagues. If it picks # 3 guy at 5th pick in second round and # 4 hb at 18th in second round, then its not really that much help to be honest.

They said earlier it had no logic to it. But what he says in video makes it seem like it does have some logic ( not picking same position in back to back picks). But he says " if you simulate" . So need clarification there to be sure . Hope that means what i think it does.

It's so hard seeing stuff to do with CFM.

The fact that it's to the point where not drafting 3 QB's or 5 TE's in the first few rounds of a draft is described as a cool feature just shows how ridiculously far CFM really is away.

Hearing how there's going to be a ton of really good players in the first couple rounds and there's never going to be a draft class where there's no talent at a position and if you do it won't happen in consecutive years sounds really iffy to me.

Outside of that, cool addition for those that play online.
