He's basically saying the zones have been dumb'd down since EA Play, he mentioned Rex told him they didn't want to make the game too hard for new players they expect to get from Longshot. My questions is does this apply to user vs. cpu? And if so why the heck did they create three different playing styles? I thought the reason was to avoid crap like this.

They've dumbed down zones across the board? Why would they do that? Can't casuals just play on arcade?

FWIW, Rex mentioned on Twitter they are looking into changing the zone coverages.

New players will not want to play sim right away, keep that stuff on arcade.

That's incredibly discouraging. This is what difficulty levels and the game modes are for. Don't dumb it down for everyone.

So why dumb down zone across the board? I doubt new players would start playing on AP Sim right? Isn't this what difficulty is for?

I wonder if zone was dumbed down due to target passing. I haven't seen gameplay where guys consistently used target passing, but I wonder if that provides a more balanced result.
If that is the case, we have a major problem.

Looks like another year of sliders that look like this:

Qb accuracy 5
Pass reaction 99
Pass coverage 99.

Let's hope they work this time, unlike the whole period of like 3 months last year between patches when qb accuracy slider was useless.
