THIS.
So much this.

Vick was feared in that game, as he should be - since he basically was one of the men who practically revolutionized the the era of the Mobile Quarterback.

It pisses me off because I was watching Mitchell Trubisky Scrambling all over the field last night in that preseason game against the Broncos.

My body prays that this occurrence will take place ofteb this year in the game....
But my heart boys.....my HEART - knows the same old "Pocket Statue AI QBs" are still going to be there....

It seems it may be at least better than '17.Madden '16 was actually very good by the final patch anyway because I had qb's that weren't big running threats get some good yards against me.

'12 had running traits that did make them threats but if they had the trait 'runs often' and they took a few sacks they would get way too run happy. I remember a game where Can Newton must've took off as soon as the ball was snapped like 5 or 6 times in a row. I then had to put all these qb's down to 'runs sometimes'.

Fast QB's actually had to be gameplanned for in that game. I'd have to come out with a spy, or I'd stack the box, something. Now, you'll see a mobile QB scramble twice a game if you're lucky. They don't even move in the pocket.

Gotcha.

I thought I saw another QB scramble in one of the other videos I've seen.

I'll try it hunt it down, but it won't happen till Sunday night.

I thought Rodgers took off in the Packers-Bears one,may have seen another one with a scramble or two.

There, gr18 agrees with me, I'll take a look at the Packers game.lol

I'm going to leave this Twitter exchange with Clint in here:

He has stated this several times in the past few days, he will take feedback from people that have played the game.

And, this is based on personal experience, last year, Play Now played different than Franchise Mode. So, take that for what's it's worth, it might be the same this year.

If you are going to play the game, test in franchise mode, not play now mode.

Just a concern I noticed: it appears that CPU qbs do not move in the pocket or scramble. Is there a tuning that can fix it?

Maybe. We need to investigate more. We also need to get people actually playing the game.

A few more with Arod avoiding pressure and stepping out of the pocket, one for a sack, one for stepping over the left and throwing back to the right for a completion.

Fast forward around the 27 minute mark and the second one is on the same drive.

Another decent sim football game played. Even user Stafford threw some bad passes.

Scrambling QBs and moving around in the pocket are two different issues imo.

Both of them need much work.

I think scrambling QBs can be fixed with a patch or tuning, but I think statue QBs is a fundamental flaw with the game that cannot be fixed in the same manner.

On the surface, it appears they will look at it, at the least, when you play the game and show some video evidence.
