They just can't get weather and immersion right since the start of this gen. It's raining in Miami and the officials are wearing winter gear and some sideline guys are wearing winter hats. In Miami. When it's raining.

Is the problem that the animation is bizarre or that he shouldnt have been able to tackle him?

is it just me or does the crowd suck? several big plays from the dolphins just in the first couple minutes and there's not much reaction for any of them. check the bomb/diving catch at 3:27; i'd expect the crowd to react like that for the road team. thumbs down.

U know, this is one of those things the team has said they would like to add for a few years now. I can't believe this wasn't in the game 10 years ago. Not trying to be that guy that says, this was in the game b4, why not now?' Because, in all reality, I don't think this has EVER been in the game. And, honestly, I just don't get it. This feels like one of those fundamental sports things. Forget football, forget basketball, forget baseball, this is something ALL sports.

But, when u specifically look at football, I hate to say anything is easy, but cmon, just create some more excited fan reaction soundtracks, and have them play when:
1. Score a TD
2. Cause a TO
3. Have a play over 30 yards

Create negative and positive reaction soundtracks and have them play at those instances. This could be a 1st iteration thing for those 3 I listed. After u see that working, u could try to create further nuance.
1st downs
Goaline stands
Etc

The game would feel so much better with this type of addition.

I think the shoestring tackle animation should have played there. Its still a tackle. I don't think it affected the outcome of the play.

I didn't see any contact so I don't think it's a tackle. There shouldn't have been any contact, the dive missed the mark.
