The day I bought the game I asked whats the immediate trade in value for it if I dont like it and want to put it towards NBA2k....he said $20 or $25 credit....I said the hell with it, I wanted to play it and will probably just keep it

Amazon gave me $44 for my MLB The Show MVP Edition. GameStop offered me $13.

Just a theory - when Gamestop offers you less than $10 for a game, they probably never wanted it in the first place, but they are obligated to take it. It's sort of their way of saying "Don't give us our 15th copy of madden 17, the other 14 haven't sold yet."

That person was wrong. Here are the current trade in values on the 3 major sites:

GameStop: $30/$33 (power up)
Best Buy: up to $30
Amazon: up to $32.78

Makes me wonder what Best Buy is doing with the massive amount of Madden 17 trade ins they did in early August when they had their trade in promo
