Everything except the PPG is based on 13 games. I've played 15 on Sim default All-Pro but left to the main menu before getting the stats for two of them. Take it FWIW which isn't much, just my experience thus far.
These stats look pretty darn reasonable to me. Maybe just the rushing a bit high? Thanks for posting this, Deuce.

Yeah, for the most part not too bad. User Rushing is too high but I've been aware of it the entire time and look at it as something I expected with All Pro. I haven't had a game under 130 yards yet on All-Pro and it's the biggest difference between All-Madden.

Pass defense needs work though. It's just terrible. I'm giving up 289 yard per game and a 70 percent completion percentage which is just too high and it's a direct result of coverage being ridiculously loose. And as a result of this points are way too high as well because of how easy it is to continuously get huge chunks of yardage. Hardly any time consuming drives.

But I'm really happy with the CPU running game. It's a great balance of runs game in and game out and feels nice for only being All Pro. I know before that it always seemed like on All Pro the CPU would have trouble getting 3 YPC and constantly hit for losses.

Nah, I think some of you are over dramatic and labeling at it's finest as evidenced in what was given out.

I will be picking up the game today and giving my impression of the game.

A strangers opinion on the net shouldn't influence anyone one way or the other, you are your own best critic.

And labeling isn't tolerated at OS.

Duece, even as a user last year in 17, I had issues trying to run the ball.

Sam Spence music is what made me stick with the old madden 10 and 11 for so long. It infuses the personality of the NFL with those tunes. I hope and pray they bring it back. I'm not a fan of the music in 18. But to each his own and if people do like it, good for them. Guess Im' just too old school.

At the end of the day, I come home and want to play the game and that's all I care about. Flaws, glitches, let downs, inconsistencies, short-comings, redundancy - what have you. Put it all aside and the game truly delivers. I'm excited to play Madden and that's something I've always been hoping for since 2004.
Huh? Are you being sarcastic? This can be said about almost any game, put the flaws aside for any game and it will deliver.

I love the updated graphics and the look of the players.. also the movement feels way better than 17. While it plays similar ive seen new animations etc.. once the f=defense is tuned it should be a pretty solid game of football. I wish there were more upgrades to CFM. but other than that, I like the new layouts for MUT and stuff.

thats called being blinded. and blinded people's reviews shouldnt be taken seriously. if im reading a music review, id like it to be from a non biased view point, not from the band's biggest fan boys view point.

So he can't have an opinion counter to yours. Got it.

Re: Madden NFL 18 Retail Impressions

Also, folks, let's just move on from criticizing each other's opinion of the retail game and calling out people.

That's not what OS is all about and not what this thread is for.
