Howdy,

This is a roster template - not an actual roster. I posted a picture of what I had done on a different thread and was asked to post here. I will update this file when I have a more updated version. Please see the notes below for some additional guidance. Starting in M17 (since we have the ability to edit), I have been creating spreadsheets for the next 3 draft classes. For Madden 18, I am creating 2018, 2019, and 2020. My goal is to have all three of these done before the Week 1 roster is made available (should arrive 9/7 per John White).

Currently, the 2018 class is basically 100% complete. If you have feedback regarding a player I left off, feel free to comment below with the player's name, position, university, and the draft class you would expect them to be in. I may or may not take your advice.

-I try to list in approximate draft order (please don't start debating this order, not the point of the thread)
-The notes that say something like "Maybe '19" just mean that if there aren't enough good players in the generated class at that position, I may flex them to the next class.
-I do edit all vitals...I know some guys don't like to do that. Totally up to you, but I will change a player's age, height, weight etc.
-I try to match up players with a generated rookie in terms of playstyle - ex: I would hope to "map" Josh Sweat to EDGE rusher, not a 4/3 OLB.
-In the 4th year of my CFM, I will simply begin using generated players.

Overall, I have* to do this to enjoy CFM from an immersion standpoint. It's a big letdown for me that Madden 18 does not support community rosters like other great franchise-oriented games do. I hope this, among many other important features, will be supported by the community and heard by EA.

Note: You should be able to open this in Google Sheets if you don't have access to Excel.
How do I get this onto my console? Do I have to manually put each of these guys in?

Thanks for your work. I've loved having this. Any chance you'll do an updated one now that we have more information on draft eligible players?

Re: Madden 18 CFM Draft Class file

Just wanted to give this a bump and say thank you again. It's a good base to build off of and has saved me a lot of time chasing down prospects size/weight, my google results show in metric (don't know how to switch to imperial haha).

It will tell you do not draft if they are under a certain overall based on their scouted traits. So that player will start off as a lower overall, but will develop quickly so there is a little trade off. Depending on where you are drafting he could be worth it.
