BSH - Block Shedding
PUR - Pursuit
PRC - Play Recognition
MCV - Man Coverage
ZCV - Zone Coverage
PRS - Press
PBK - Pass Block
RBK - Run Block
IBL - Impact Blocking
RBS - Run Block Strength
PBS - Pass Block Strength
KPW - Kick Power
KAC - Kick Accuracy
RET - Return
STA - Stamina
INJ - Inury

A couple of those aren't used in scouting, and there are others such as RBF (Run Block Footwork), which I believe is no longer used and was only used for simulated games in the past; and BPR (Beat The Press), which is important but I don't think you can upgrrade it.

BTW, although Madden refers to these as "skills" in the context of scouting, they are more properly called "attributes." If you want to learn more about them, that's the key word to search for (Madden attributes).

I much prefer the abbreviations to the the full phrase because they take up much less space and having the pop-up list find them when you type in a few letters saves time. (And because they seem to be in a more logical order than in the previous version).

Finally a hardy shout out of "Thank You" to creator Old Man Nathy.

One last thing. You can find an expansion of these abbreviations in the full team roster; they are displayed as you scroll over each one.

Largely still relevant though some of the checks have changed. I'm working on an updated guide.

I'm in week 12 of my franchise, that I found quite a few possible blue Chip prospects. And for sure I have found two guaranteed blue Chip prospects, one hey predicted first round quarterback that was supposed to go in the early second round and a fullback in 4th.
