Too many missed PAT's in SuperSim???

Has anybody else noticed that if you use the supersim/play the moment feature, and play offense only there's a crazy high amount of missed PAT's for the user? Usually, if you have it set to play offense only, if you score a TD, the system sim's the PAT for you. I'm entering week 7, my kicker's PAT conversion % is at 60% presently. Now, he is a rookie, but he has a 90 for kick power, and a 91 for kick accuracy, with a 64 awareness though and he's a 77 OVR. With kick ratings like that, he shouldn't be missing that many PAT's, especially when he's 10/10 on FG's.

Anyone else noticing this? It's got to be a glitch or mix up I'm thinking within the PTM/Supersim system. Anybody else noticing this? Or is it just my kicker?

I've seen this, too, when I was supersimming everything but offense messing around on the EA Access trial period.

There were a ton of missed extra points in the real NFL last year but there is no way it should be that low, the worst kickers in the league last year (for PAT's) were:

Blair Walsh - 78.9%
Mike Nugent - 79.3%
Stephen Hauschka - 82.9%

Just out of curiosity what is the next lowest kicker at in your league?

Ouch. Great question. The answer... is pretty ugly.

McManus has the worst... 57%
Zeurlein is at 58%
My kicker is 60%
Gb's kicker is 60%
Jax... 61%
Succop.. 63%...

Long story short.. 25 kickers have a PAT % less than 77% through 8 weeks. 10 of those 25 are below 70%. 7 of the 25 are between 70-75%

Vinatieri leads the league at 90. Santos is 85. Hopkins is at 84.

There's 3 guys at 80%.

I think 5 between 76-79.

Clearly, IMO, something is wrong with the sim engine when it comes to PAT's.

Can a mod please change the thread title? It's not just tied to supersim/play the moment, it's apparently the sim engine in general.

Re: Too many missed PAT's in SuperSim???

I use Super Sim to play Offense only, and it's killing me! I've lost multiple games bc my kicker doesn't make XP's. The majority of the league is making greater than 95% of XPs, but my kicker is at 65%.

What a joke! We need to get this fixed, OR, better yet, allow us to complete the XP when playing on Offense Only Super Sim. Thoughts?

-- Kickers XP Percentage through 11 games (Franchise) --

14 - 100%
12 - 95-99%
4 - 90-94%
2 - 80-89%
65% - My kicker, Super Sim XP

Very annoying. If you're losing games, maybe you should start going for 2. That's what I do.

Re: Too many missed PAT's in SuperSim???

ok the issue is, in sim, they kick it from the 35 yard line.

A work around that I use, since i also play offence only, is i will turn the sim speed to slow so i watch it, and what this does, it actually puts the kick in the correct spot on the field so the PAT usually ends up good(like most should)
