I've put the game back on my shelf. The missed extra points are really bothering me. I can overlook all the other bugs, but not this. I don't know how something that worked properly last year gets so messed up this year.

Stuff like this is the reason I finally did not buy Madden on release day since early 2000's... And it is looking more and more likely that I wont buy it all. So disappointing.

The sim engine as a whole is pretty bad. I'm in an 32-user CFM where we sim the games and it's pretty noticeable. Biggest recurring issue has to be how 80%+ of runs go for between 3 and 5 yards. If you super sim, it's a constant 3 yards, 4 yards, 4 yards, 3 yards, 1 yard, etc.

So while they might have a realistic yards per carry number, the distribution of the carries is way off. You'll notice this because many RBs will go full seasons without a 10+ yard carry. You'll notice here that only about 28% of rushing attempts go for between 3 and 5 yards, with 55% being between 0 and 5.

I went through the play logs of players with the lowest per carry averages with more than 200 carries and they all have a handful of carries over 10 yards, and tons over 5.
