I'm a passive defensive player. I call the play and usually have a safety highlighted. However I don't move the sticks or press any buttons and the safety and the rest of the ai players play defense once the ball is snapped.
This isn't happening anymore. The safety does not move, nor does any other player I try highlighting before the snap. Did they make it mandatory that you manually control a defensive player?
Why would they change this after it's been fine for like, ten years?
If I have to manually control a defender I quit. Mostly because I am bad at it yes but I don't understand the change.
What's also strange is that sometimes the player does actually move around and play D, but not often.
Also mad they took out unranked draft champions mode, or even ranked for that matter, apparently I need 5 tickets to play it that I do not have and don't have time to mess around earning them. It seems they've really tried to force people into a time sink here just to play modes that used to be readily accessible.
