CFM return from injuries early

For cfm this year is it possible for a player to return from injury earlier than expected like it was last year?

Re: CFM return from injuries early

I think so because I was offered the option to return my halfback from injury early as a 'big decision'.

Yes but there's really not point or risk/reward. I always start the back up as the injured guys ratings always drop drastically

Yes, but I view it as a half baked feature. Why would I elect to have my DT return early if his strength rating is going to be 72?

This feature is a waste as the injured player is so bad every time it is never worth bringing them back. Would be nice if they gave you something like the player is 90%. But when they ask you if you want to start a corner with 72 speed, why even ask the question.

Re: CFM return from injuries early

I agree. There's simply no benefit to returning an injured player early. The debt that has to be paid is too great.

Fact is, unless you're talking about a QB, any substitute player will only benefit from the experience playing anyway. Your franchise actually benefits from having the 2nd string player fill in for another game unless his ratings are so poor that he's a liability. If this is the case, you should have considered changes to the depth chart or look in free agency in the first place.

There is a certain amount of (perhaps unintentional) reality there. It seems IRL life teams or much more likely to play a slightly injured QB than a slightly injured WR or CB.

That does not excuse the poor game design of giving us a virtually meaningless choice, however.

Re: CFM return from injuries early

Had something weird happen. WR Tyreek Hill broke his thumb in week 1 and it said he was going to be out for 6 weeks. Then in week 3 he returns early and is able to play and the commentators are talking about how Hill was able to return from the back injury early? What? It was a broken thumb lol.. Then later in that same game he hurts his thumb again and it says he's out for the season. I finish the game and then he's listed as being out for only 6 more weeks. Wtf
