In order to try to help I also simmed 5 seasons and I got this:

2017: 23
2018: 18
2019: 21
2020: 17
2021: 20

For a point of reference, no NFL offensive lineman allowed more than 10 sacks last year. Regardless of the relative consistency, the overall performance is not in line with reality. It's mind-boggling how EA could build a sim engine this out of line with reality.

I think I've fixed this issue both in simulated games and human vs CPU games. If you edit every QB 'sense pressure' trait to Ideal and 'force pass' trait to Conservative, and set the CPU pass block slider to 70 you'll be good. It doesn't kill gameplay, qbs still have personality and it's still possible to get sacks

Sliders don't affect sim stats though so the CPU pass block slider to 70 has no effect. What kinds of numbers are you seeing?

As i said in my original post, ive tried it with different teams with different quality LT's and im getting almost identical results.

Teams have tried with:
Rams
Steelers
Patriots
Lions
Packers
Falcons
Panthers
Bills

Like i also said, when i review the stats at the end of the year nearly every single LT has above 20-25 sacks allowed. This is online CFM.

If I recall, when this was an issue in the past it was causing LT's confidence and ratings to get deflated, and I think they were retiring early too.

There was a huge thread about it for Madden 15 or 16—whichever game is was the issue in.

I believe this is only happening in simmed games.

For some reason, I feel like maybe this could be an issue with the CPU quarterbacks unwillingness to step up in the pocket when the RDE bends around behind the quarterback which is what creates the pocket.

This was/is the issue OP is referring to. Simming and LT's surrendering too many sacks was a bug a couple versions ago.
