HDR issues?

Anyone have any issues with madden looking grey'd out or dark? I had to totally readjust my settings for it to look good. Every other game looks fine!

We need a HDR calibrator slider similar to Battlefield 1 since it's running on the same engine.

You need to turn dynamic contrast to high on 2016 oleds if you've recently updated your firmware. It's a requirement.

Re: HDR issues?

Same tv I have, have you downloaded the firmware update for it from LG? HDR game mode had a bad latency issue before they released the firmware, update fixed it, but some complain it made HDR in games too dark. Madden 18 on my B6 is actually brighter now in HDR, looks amazing. Should be able to download it to a formatted flash drive and install it right from the usb port on your tv, cant remember if LG allows you to update it via the TV menu or not. I feel like I did this http://www.lg.com/us/support/answers...-your-firmware

but the TV showed my TV as up to date so I had to download it from the internet.

More on the story, I bought one of the newer B6 models (in 2017) and the problem apparently isn't as bad, here is another recent article on it.

Re: HDR issues?

People are going to experience a darker looking game being that without HDR everyone gets used to a more vibrant screen. HDR looks amazing on my Samsung 60" KS8000 with the settings from the link below.

I'm sure they're are more instructional videos for how to set up HDR on other models from YouTube.
