Owner or Coach in CFM

coach as the thing that annoyed me is that id win the SB as owner and develop my coach and they would either retire or move to another team despite time left on contract, and id have to pay the remaining salary for either case

the only other thing was signing physio where the cpu would never sign the best available

Yes, you can get a new stadium, same team, city etc... but you won't get to play in the new stadium until the following season

I think a big difference between the two is signing bonuses. In owner mode, bonuses are taken out of your cash pool. So if you're not Jerry Jones and rolling in money, if you play in a poor stadium, have a bad team, or are building a new stadium, you'll have low, sometimes negative cash flow which makes it difficult if not impossible to re-sign your players or sign new ones. In coach mode all you have to do is manage the cap since you're not responsible for finances. But then you're stuck with the same coach for the duration of your franchise, which shouldn't matter but Madden's presentation style is to show your coach every five seconds so it's nice to see someone different sometimes lol
