Offensive Line XP

Does anyone know how to generate more XP for offensive linemen in CFM. Through 15 weeks my lineman have generated about 2000 XP each, not enough to improve RBK, IBK or PBK. Players at the skill positions generate a ton of XP but not my offensive line.

You are doing something wrong.

Unless you adjust the XP sliders linemen improve too quickly.

Hell my superstar development LT got over 1000 XP each game.

Check their weekly goals. They get XP for team stats.

I'm not sure what this dude is doing to get 1000 a game but I'm right with you man. Even having young dudes and a team that is crushing it is tough to generate much xp. You doing training drills that benefit OL? I'm not cuz I have a young QB and I would rather give him and my WRs the xp, but that's a quick way to generate some.

Same here Philly. My lineman rarely get many XPs.

Offensive linemen have less attributes to upgrade than other positions. It is a bit hard to upgrade them when first starting out but gets really easy eventually if your team is having success. They tend to get a lot of end of season xp and if they win awards watch out.

Quick RT
Gold in running - power 720 xp
focus player - 200 XP
2x dynamic goal - 40xp
83 downs played - 43 xp
3 passing TDs - 9xp
1 rushing TD - 3xp
weekly goal 225 passing yards - 231 xp

Total: 1244 xp

Superstar LT got 1120 XP from running power gameplan alone. That LT is Ronnie Stanley. He does not have superstar development in the base roster. After year one I had enough XP to buy him that development speed. And he still had enough xp to increase him to a 87 overall.

My normal development center typically gets about ~600 xp a week.

If you want to improve your line you have to make it a point to improve your line guys, you cannot just hope they improve on their own. In all of year 1 two of my focus guys were linemen. I consistently work on my running game in training.

I’m not sure what happened at the end of season 3 regulars season but most of my lineman that are rookies or with 1 year experience gained 30000 xp to start the playoffs.

I too had this same thing happen after season three just not quite to the extent you did. I had 4 lineman that didnt even play suddenly gain 20,000+ XP each and I have zero idea why. All of them are normal dev as well so that couldn't be it and none were part of the focused training at all during the season either.

Speaking of XP glitches, on an unrelated note, it had my seasonal goal for a CB as 6 INT's, which he only had 4, but instead of counting the INT's it counted his deflections instead, of which he had 21, so he easily met the seasonal goal. I don't know if it's simply shown wrong and supposed to be deflections or if the game is pulling the wrong info completely.
