Pass Reaction and Pass Coverage

Can u guys help me out with the game definition of the two sliders. There is no run reaction so i was wondering if that is what Pass Reaction is supposed to do. Looking to see what the difference between the two sliders is.

Re: Pass Reaction and Pass Coverage

There are varying opinions on this. You can read the sliders forum for insight but I don't know that anyone can define them with 100% accuracy.

Re: Pass Reaction and Pass Coverage

I saw some talk on twitter that the pass coverage slider may be reversed.

I feel like there may be some truth to that.

Just doing my part to muddle things up even more for you.

Re: Pass Reaction and Pass Coverage

I think:

Pass reaction is a time delay. A higher number means there is more of a delay before the defender reacts. A lower number means less of a delay before the defender reacts.

Re: Pass Reaction and Pass Coverage

My belief has always been that pass reaction influences zone coverages while pass coverage influences man coverage.

Pass reaction: how quickly defenders react to threats in their zone
pass coverage: the frequency of the fake out animation that creates separation

According to some, if it's not "broken" it's reversed (it being everything).

Re: Pass Reaction and Pass Coverage

It's definitely reversed, at least as implemented in CFM on All-Madden. Did extensive testing for charter's slider set.
