Posting while watching the Ravens game, my bad.

Before I realized you were the OP I said that you were being one of those guys that comes into a thread with an agenda. But this is your thread so that is not fitting here.

Regardless of that, your statement that simulation football is irrelevant to the Madden team is wrong, one only needs to look at the features they have added over the years. But you don't care about that, you are on a mission to bash the game. So set aside anything that differs from your narrative.

You're wrong. There's no narrative. Just opinions based on facts. Looking for an argument is counterproductive for all of us, including your Ravens who need your support

Ravens offense is dreadful. It almost feels like punishment watching them.

Re: Run/Pass commit under threat

Run/Pass committ is probably the most unsim feature in the game. It basically turns the game into Tecmo Bowl. You have a 25% chance of calling the right committ and if its a run in the direction you chose the play gets completely shut down.

Its really just a band-aid feature put in instead of giving players situational awareness. If the AI didn't fall for playaction on 3rd and 20 every time then we wouldn't need Pass Committ at all.

And regardless of whether you think its sim or not the best solution would be EA giving CFM commishes the option to deactivate it in League Settings. The idea that EA will be able to make a Sim mode that the entire community agrees on is a farce. The only way to get a Sim mode that makes every user and every CFM happy is to give consumers as many customization options as possible.

I consider "busts" to be those guys who fall well short of expectations, because they never improve. They almost always have the Slow development trait. Good luck getting those guys to 90 Overall (unless you jack up the XP sliders to an unrealistic level). And if you do "force feed" such a player, you're wasting development time (practice reps) and resources that could be better used to develop players who improve at a faster rate.
