Excessive pancakes since recent patch

It happened to me on the opening drive in the first quarter... Like on the 2nd or 3rd play of the drive.. I posted this already.

I'm not disputing that it did :-)

I was saying that people may have got the idea that it only happens at the end of drives because it's obviously easier to score when the entire defensive line has been pancaked!

the worst thing is that it feels freaking random.....I got my rb slider down to 6....

Ill go a game or 2 with a single pancake on a play here or there and then the next game...all of sudden boom....there it is...multiple guys across the D getting leveled at the same time....

EDIT:

ok no....Its definitely tied to the pass commit feature....users can stop this from happening to them, but we cant do anything for the cpu...will have a vid up soon.....I can say the zones are most susceptible like cover 3 or cov 2 .... with pass commit on, it will trigger the "EP".....regardless most formations





I don't think there is anything we can do for the CPU being plagued by this unless EA fixes it....

as others have alluded to...this should never happen like this and should have never been implemented on the sim mode....

you want to have band aide fixes like this to satisfy competitive and arcade players who feel qrts defense is too strong fine.....do it in those modes.

But If your going to do it in a mode where the user base primarily plays the cpu....you better think about the consequences and what that means for a rather brain dead cpu opponent knowing when to and not to use that feature.

Especially when the cpu is pass commiting down 2 scores in the fourth. It is just bad programming on top of bad programming to subject solo franchise players to this crap.

So we have to tell EA and the Devs....

either

A. Disable "Pass Commit" for the CPU in Sim mode

or

B. Roll back whatever extra penalty boost they gave to "Pass Commit" in the last patch...at least for Sim Mode
