"You're in the minority."

And your average video gamer is over Madden.

This update is not going to bring a big number of players to come back and play Madden 18.

However it is encouraging to see the folks at EA take care of the consumers that already bought Madden 18.

I agree with you on that. But I think the toxic atmosphere that has been created has more to do with that than the game. I mean, the usual suspects all came out and hammered the patch as quickly as possible yesterday in order to drive a false narrative.

Now we see the same guys saying, "Yeah, but..."

I don't care..............

The other stuff I didn't address in my post.

The older one becomes, the less time for games with more family time responsibilities.

And my favorite cliche: To each their own.

Gotta admit, after some initial frustration, Iím loving this patch. Worried that the next one down the line will nerf the great things, though. Fingers crossed.

Iíll be the first to admit: Iím one of those guys. thought I had a legitimate complaint about the QB AI when I realized itís about the traits, too. I changed my game style and now, Iím having a blast playing it. All a matter of perspective, Iíd say.

I stopped playing for the same reason I stop playing every year. I'm terrible. Every game I throw at least 5 interceptions. Slider at 0, still throw 5. I really really truly suck at this game.

When I'm throwing too many interceptions, it is often that I am overusing bullet passes. You feel like you need to zing it in there, when you are just throwing the ball where more defenders have shot to grab it.

The other thing I do is go full on Alex Smith and throw short passes until I am getting a better feel for the game. If I try to air it out too often, my INTs go up.

Iíve learned how to drop passes into tight coverage. Itís tough, and sometimes I get a little help from AI/animations, but itís so rewarding. How long you hold the button determines how strong/weak the pass is. If you can time up the release of the icon, the reward is a great play.
