Unique formations

I see some formations in Run and Shoot that are not available when I create a playbook (like Shotgun 5WR Trips). Is there any way to add these to a custom book?

You can't add formations that aren't in team specific playbooks. I believe they said it was due to space constraints

That was my first thought. But Shotgun 5WR Trio is only in Run N Gun but it's available for custom. Shotgun 5WR Trips is only available in Run and Shoot and is NOT available in custom.

Reyes is correct. This was done because the devs needed to have that space to add all the new formations into the game. You may find some of the formations in the team specific playbooks show up in the base playbooks, but the formations that are only in the base playbooks, will not show up to use in the custom editor.
