There actually used to be a production rating in Franchise, but it got dumped in favor of making OVR more representative of the player's actual ratings.

Agreed that the game doesn't do a good job of having players ask for contracts representative of their actual production / breakout seasons / etc. As much as I enjoy playing it, this is one more example of why Franchise - especially in single player - is still a pretty rigid experience.

They need to get rid of the rich get richer progression system so that you can actually draft and develop a Garoppolo
