This thread is discussing the title update of November, which is 1.07 I believe. Yesterday, the title update that dropped was 1.08.

I haven't been on the boards lately so apologies if this has been discussed. Has anyone had issues with the CPU's offense being nerfed after this patch? Both All Pro and All Madden, the CPU never does anything against me. It's far too easy.

I never feel threatened by or afraid of the CPU offense. I tried a few of OS' most popular sliders and the CPU is inept. I am by no means great at this game and was struggling defensively pre-patch.

I'm in Year 4, Week 5 of my Jets CFM and the CPU has failed to top 16 points in each of my first four games. The last game I played on default All Madden I won 45-16. Ten of those 16 points came in the 4th quarter when I was barely paying attention.

CPU's offense took a big jump (with the QB being able to scramble and avoid sacks finally) after 1.07, but 1.08 introduced a bug where players with the Cover Ball=All trait (vast majority of RB/WR/TE starters) seem to go into "cover ball" mode as soon as they touch the ball, causing them to run extremely slowly the whole play. That has definitely nerfed the CPU's rush offense and big play ability.
