What's weird is that in the first two games after the patch I only saw about 8 pancakes total. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. It really has messed up the game for me.
In a game last night my backup HB had TD runs of 75, 65, and 44 yds all in the 4th qtr.

Re: New patch broke run blocking. User Pancakes everywhere

I have a house rule on this. When I get past the LOS and there's a surprising lack of traffic, I know it's because the pancake issue came up, so I simply stop running after a few yards. I'll take a solid gain, but I'm not going to rip off the long run and mess up my otherwise very sim stats.

Admittedly, such a house rule is incredibly lame, as is EA's intention to have light boxes result in total DL pancakes, but c'est la vie. This is the game we have.

I played my first game in a while and had no problem running ..I put up 236 yards with Crowell.

I only do play now games but I did notice that the cmp actually has a run game now before I could shut it down..they ran for 122 yards.

I use armours sliders with few tweaks to my liken.

I had 5 20+ yard runs with longs of 82,38,28,35 can't remember other one.

Wondering how anyone else deals with this issue as I too see it at least 2 times a game, most often in the 4th quarter, but it does happen in the other quarters as well. I'm probably going to adopt Trojan Man's philosophy and just stop running when I see the issue, but boy, this is so ridiculous that we have to make workarounds like this just to enjoy the game...

I just started playing this years madden. I am 4 games in and I have seen it like 4 times. Last game it happened twice. One in the 2Q and once in the 4th. All pro default sliders.
