It helps tremendously with the nonsense that goes on with AM. It was like that in 17, and appears to that way this year. I've had to tremendously lower the cpu sliders in every category, even more so than some sliders posted here at OS.

At that point it's almost playing to the level of All-Pro. The Biggest difference being, the Cpu really, really tries to win. Its at that point, where it could be viewed as Cpu boosts and cheapness. But it's been minimal for me personally.

I really do think Madden has taken some steps forward the last 3 years. Unfortunately the biggest step backwards has been the cpu ai. Specifically at QB.

Agreed, you have try and balance it out on All Madden. I never was a fan of all pro, it gets way to easy imo. All pro seems built for the user to succeed way to often imo. Way to many handcuffs on All pro, a game shouldnt be like that.

Thanks for the input fellas..
Devs have stated that AP is the baseline and where ratings are set for. So that is why I always try and play AM.. But like stated..I may have to just give in a little.

If you look under notifications on ps4, it will show the first part is finished, and also show how much of the TOTAL game download is left to finish.

Thank you, I will fire it up and see if it was still downloading. If I turn it back on, will it automatically start downloading again?

Absolutely! I've actually always played at all-pro. It's just that the last 2 years.... have been a real effort to get the cpu to play up to par. I did it, but it's pretty cool for a change of pace. And challenge.

Honest question, but why after all these patches, they don't patch the individual career/game stats issue within Franchise? It doesn't show the teams they played for, played against, and the stats all appear random vs game.

I've asked for this so many times throughout the year and I know this issue plagued Madden last year too.

It really kills the immersion of simulated football.

Ok I converted my test CFM I had earlier to AM with adjusted sliders.
Normally the most glaring issue for me with AM is the CPU QB play.
Lightning quick throws avoiding sacks and pretty much always seeing the WR open and boom ..completion.

Well I'm happy to say that didn't happen.

Washington at KC
It was a tight game throughout (Some tweaks needed yet but surprisingly close)
Really have to be on your game which is cool.

The things that stood out was on one play Smith had Kelce open (wide open) on an out pattern.. I had a blitz on BTW..
It was a PA and when Alex turned he had time to (What I normally seen in the past) turn and lightning delivery out to the one open man.
Not this time. He turned and it was a second or 2 and the blitz got there and we got a sack.

In the 4th Norman made a nice INT to stop a drive (We were up 16-10) and when KC got the ball back for a final drive and a 2nd down pass play, Smith scrambled to his left and threw across his body and the pass was underthrown and Hall picked it off to seal the win.

Was a fun game (QB scrambles etc were all happening)

No pancake issue at all so guess I got lucky there.

Running game was good for both sides as well. We didn't go over 100 but that was due to lack of carries (Averaged 4.3 by Kelly for 75 yards), while KC's Ware did go for 105 and a 4.0 ave.

Pretty happy... Will do a couple tweaks then whatever happens happens.
At least I know AM doesn't mean what it used to when I used it in the past.

So I went back and checked a 360 Profile Save to see if Slider adjustments are still the same as in the past.

As in the past, when you adjust “any” Gameplay Slider it’s no longer EA’s Preset (Rookie (0), Pro (1), AP (2), AM (3)) but a “Custom (4)” set the has all CPU/User sliders at “50” as a default <—(notation directly from M16 game save)

So you were not playing on AM (3), but a Custom (4) set.
