Lightning quick throws avoiding sacks and pretty much always seeing the WR open and boom ..completion.

Well I'm happy to say that didn't happen.

Washington at KC
It was a tight game throughout (Some tweaks needed yet but surprisingly close)
Really have to be on your game which is cool.

The things that stood out was on one play Smith had Kelce open (wide open) on an out pattern.. I had a blitz on BTW..
It was a PA and when Alex turned he had time to (What I normally seen in the past) turn and lightning delivery out to the one open man.
Not this time. He turned and it was a second or 2 and the blitz got there and we got a sack.

In the 4th Norman made a nice INT to stop a drive (We were up 16-10) and when KC got the ball back for a final drive and a 2nd down pass play, Smith scrambled to his left and threw across his body and the pass was underthrown and Hall picked it off to seal the win.

Was a fun game (QB scrambles etc were all happening)

No pancake issue at all so guess I got lucky there.

Running game was good for both sides as well. We didn't go over 100 but that was due to lack of carries (Averaged 4.3 by Kelly for 75 yards), while KC's Ware did go for 105 and a 4.0 ave.

Pretty happy... Will do a couple tweaks then whatever happens happens.
At least I know AM doesn't mean what it used to when I used it in the past.
I like everything your saying about AM.
What's the deal with the CPU qbs doing this?
I'm going to check A. Smiths trait (throw ball away yes/no)
I'm sure certain traits stand out more on AM.

As in the past, when you adjust “any” Gameplay Slider it’s no longer EA’s Preset (Rookie (0), Pro (1), AP (2), AM (3)) but a “Custom (4)” set the has all CPU/User sliders at “50” as a default <—(notation directly from M16 game save)

So you were not playing on AM (3), but a Custom (4) set.
Yes but in games past having the game mode at AM was like turning on Rage game.. So far I'm not seeing that.. but early

Same here. I've it only once in more than 4 seasons. I always call the play, and quite often audible from pass to run.

All the positive comments about All-Madden not being as absurd as it usually is has convinced me to give it a go again this year. I play a lot of AM on 17 but eventually got worn down by BS. Since it seems that 18 is even less OP than 17 I'll see how it plays.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

For fun I threw it on all madden w/ adjusted sliders to give it a shot. Me (rams) at Jacksonville in the rain. Fournette ran for over 300 yards on 28 carries and I lost 51-0....

I think I need to tweak the sliders a bit more and try again. That game was a disaster and looked an awful lot like vintage all madden.

Haven't seen a PI yet so will up the slider a bit to see if that helps.
Coverage's "seem" better but there are still plays where the DB/S will shadow a WR then for some reason just stop covering him. Now with that said you'll need good OL pass blocking to get to that point into the play.

Tackling was fine. Can still juke a D player easier than I'd like but only a couple games into testing with AM so could be ratings based. So nothing certain until more games into it..
