My theory on whats wrong with madden

It was widely considered that ncaa was the "test" version of madden. So after ncaa got nixed (it was the better game for some time at that point imo) they let go of the wrong people. The ones that made ncaa were the ones who really got the bugs out and gameplay down etc. Just a thought.

I have never heard anyone say NCAA was a test version of Madden. The games were nothing alike at all.

How old are you. They tested features on ncaa routinely a year before they came to madden. Obviously the college game and pro game are different. But the gameplay itself is virtually the same. Just tuned a little differently.

They tested things on NCAA or the NCAA team came up with them first? The two games themselves are totally different and not in the pro and college aspect of it, which I was not referring too. I don't believe they used NCAA as a test because many things did not make the jump to Madden. Like the no huddle offense, coaching carousel, team builder, and just overall presentation, like score updates during the game. All things people loved about it but none of them made it to Madden, not even 5 years later.

Gameplay is what im talking about. Dynasty mode was and still isfar and away better than franchise. No huddle is a perfect example of my point. No huddle is definitely in madden. Read option. There were others

But that the dynasty mode was better also goes along with my point. Maybe they would have coaching carousel in madden if they didn't get rid of all the ncaa developers.

Read option was in NCAA first because the NCAA was running it and the pro teams were not at the time. So you can't exactly say they were testing that. No huddle doesn't work like it did in NCAA 14.
